The National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA) will host its 13th annual national conference Sept. 28-30 at the Fairmount Turnberry Resort in Miami.

Themed “Diversity-A Roadmap to New Opportunities” the event brings together insurance industry professionals from various roles and disciplines to participate in roundtable discussion forums, continuing education workshops and networking. An awards ceremony will honor those who have made significant contributions to this industry.

“The 2011 National Conference will champion the use of teamwork as a key to success for African Americans presented with (insurance) industry challenges and opportunities,” says Don Davis, national chairman of NAAIA. “The diversity of talent and perspective embodied by the NAAIA membership and supporters will further emphasize the value of collaboration.”

More information about NAAIA and its 2011 National Conference is available at its website or calling 866-56-NAAIA (566-2242).
