Insurance professionals have an online spot for engaging in conversation about insurance, technology and related topics, as Applied Systems has launched a blog.
The insurance technology company hosts the blog for conversations that include but also go beyond agency and broker management systems. It features posts on the latest in technology, continuing insurance education, insurance trends, and industry news and events.
The blog is meant to engage a broad insurance audience and encourage readers to comment and converse. Applied Systems professional staff and guest bloggers will provide material on the site. The blog is also accessible from the 'blog' link at the Applied Website.
“We hope to provide a forum for some lively discussion, beginning with some of the issues our company is involved in on behalf of agents, brokers and carriers,” says James P. Kellner, Applied Systems chairman and CEO. “We want to know we're helping to create discussion around what interests people in the industry, and to provide a site where insurance voices can be heard talking about what's important to them.”
Kellner kicked off the blog with a post of his own about the Applied Systems campaign to raise funds and awareness for InVEST (Insurance Vocational Education Student Training) through the Applied Systems Facebook page.
