BlueWave Technology, a provider of property & casualty claims software, announces the availability of PipelineClaims Version 5.0, an upgrade to the company's modern Web-based claims administration system that supports the ISO ClaimSearch Universal Format.

PipelineClaims Version 5.0 features a Web-based user interface along with numerous options for system configuration and customization. In addition to enhanced financial administration and workflow configuration, the system features multi-line support of ISO ClaimSearch Universal Format out-of-the box. This support empowers clients to reduce data-entry while leveraging ISO services such as ClaimSearch, ClaimDirector, and Medicare Secondary Payer Reporting Service, allowing claims departments to comply with Medicare reporting, a federal requirement that has pressed insurance companies to seek modern technology to ease administrative burdens.
Developed with configuration and integration as key architectural priorities, PipelineClaims 5.0 allows insurers the ability to use pre-configured values, business rules and workflows to expedite implementations or tailor them to company-specific needs. Support of business rules and workflow management automate processes, providing company-wide claim best practices and operational efficiencies. In addition, PipelineClaims was built on a Java architecture which enables the application to integrate with other core systems in any IT environment.
