Wondering which tropical storm names we'll be discussing in the news this year? Below is the list of names that will be used when tropical storms form in the Atlantic. The lists are recycled every six years, unless a name is retired from the list due to it being particularly deadly or costly.
According to the National Hurricane Center, when a name is retired it is stricken from the list and another name is selected to replace it. Last year, the names of Igor and Tomas were retired.
