CSC announced additions to its mobile insurance applications that give agents, insurance professionals, and policyholders access to services from both life and annuity and property and casualty systems. The new 2Work family of role-based mobile apps, which are pre-packaged and customizable, helps insurance professionals harness the benefits of location-aware, real-time, and secure tablets and smartphones to do their work.

Among CSC’s new mobile apps is a tablet app for an insurance claims adjuster, 2Work for Adjusters, which has been initially built for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Another application for the PlayBook, 2Work for Brokers, is geared for brokers and life insurance agents.
