As this look-ahead to summer is written, Floridians are still getting to know their new governor, Cabinet members, and legislators. We are recovering from the oil spill in the Gulf that impacted our coastal economy. The natural disasters across an ocean have made us mindful of the potential for hurricanes, sinkholes, lightening and flooding here at home. Far too many of us are unemployed, and we continue to battle waves of housing foreclosures. What’s a hard-working insurance professional to do?
