The Griffith Foundation has awarded more than $35,000 in scholarships to 25 deserving students studying risk management, insurance, or actuarial science at colleges and universities for the 2010-11 academic year. 

“The primary role of The Griffith Foundation is to develop and sustain an industry-wide effort to educate and encourage young people to consider a career in the risk management and insurance industry,” said foundation President and CEO Don Rebele. “One of the ways we do this is by providing support to students so that more graduates can enter our industry. Risk management and insurance offers the right mix of professional opportunity and personal interest for those students seeking a new challenge.”
