The coalition of New York insurance companies working to educate consumers about the costs of fraud and how to combat it has new leadership as of November 4, 2010. The New York Alliance Against Fraud (NYAAIF) held elections for its 2011 officers and board of directors at its annual meeting in New York, N.Y. The current board of directors elected the following officers for a one-year term ending December 31, 2011:
|- Chair: John Sargent, director special investigation unit (SIU), MetLife Auto & Home
- Vice Chair: James Berrigan, SIU manager, Crum & Forster Insurance
- Treasurer: Jack Houston, SIU manager, New York Automobile Insurance Plan
- Secretary: Kevin O'Connor, SIU manager, Interboro Insurance
The membership elected the following directors for a three-year term ending December 31, 2013:
|- Donald Gates, Jr., Northeast regional manager SIU, Zurich
- Jack Houston, SIU manager, New York Automobile Insurance Plan
- Kevin O'Connor, SIU manager, Interboro Insurance
- Peter May, executive vice president and general counsel, Fiduciary Insurance Company of America
- John McHale, senior supervisor, Erie Insurance
- John Sargent, director of SIU, MetLife Auto & Home
