As the population of "baby boomers" born between 1946 and 1964 heads closer to retirement, many face the reality that their years of hard work have not provided enough for a comfortable retirement.

Recognizing that employees in the insurance industry are no exception, Sharon Emek, a 30-year veteran of the insurance industry, launched a new business model, which also addresses multiple problems facing insurance agencies.

Ms. Emek describes her new business–Work at Home Vintage Employees, or WAHVE–as a "perfect storm staffing model."
