Main Street America names Kesner director of regional board

Kesner is the associate dean of faculty and research and the Frank P. Popoff chair of strategic management at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Ind.

The Main Street America Group has elected Idalene Kesner as a director of the super regional property/casualty insurance carrier’s board. Kesner is the associate dean of faculty and research and the Frank P. Popoff chair of strategic management at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Ind.

Kesner has won 17 teaching awards for her work in the Kelley School’s MBA program. During her tenure at Indiana and the University of North Carolina, Kesner has been selected by Business Week magazine as one of the nation’s leading MBA instructors. At Kelley, she teaches a variety of management and strategy courses across several areas including strategic management, crisis management, change management and management consulting.
