Church Mutual Insurance Co. will begin accepting large religious accounts from select agents and brokers nationwide, effective Jan. 1.

The company is not seeking to accept single pieces of business, but rather wants to build ongoing relationships with a limited number of brokers and agents.

To avoid competing with its own direct sales force — which has been the hallmark of the company's success and, for the most part, the only way to access the company –only accounts with a minimum of six-figure premiums will be considered for placement through Church Mutual's newly formed broker/agency division.
