ACORD appoints Heil as standards director

Heil will work directly with ACORD's program directors for all standards areas to enhance standards development process.

ACORD has appointed Rick Heil, CLU, CHFC as standards director. He will work directly with all of ACORD’s program directors and managers for all standards areas to enhance and streamline the standards development process.

Until 2005, Heil was program director for ACORD’s Life, Annuity & Health Standards program. Before that, his industry experience included serving as a vice president of information systems for a national life insurance agency, a senior vice president of a leading insurance illustration systems vendor and a senior vice president of a multi-national software developer selling automated underwriting and new business processing systems worldwide.
