Now tracking the status of adjusters' continuing education (CE) credits and state licensing requirements may be a little less stressful for many insurers and claim administrators.
KMC On Demand has introduced its Compliance Genie, which combines a comprehensive, centralized online licensing and CE database with a scalable enterprise application. According to KMC on Demand, the tool provides up-to-date notification, tracking and reporting of compliance requirements, along with vetted claim courses to enhance adjuster knowledge.
Insurers can also monitor adjuster license renewals in non-CE states with the Compliance Genie, which provides email alerts to users regarding upcoming renewals. Once a user accesses his or her KMC On Demand account, completes a course, and applies for CE credits in the system, the tool completes a number of tasks, including confirming the application for CE credits, managing the CE process in all relevant states, and confirming approval of CE credits.
"[It] saves time and money for both the employer and the employee," said Colm Keenan, vice president of knowledge management for KMC On Demand. "In particular, [the tool] helps insurers and claim administrators avoid costly fines by ensuring that all adjusters are complying with state requirements."
Keenan added that the company conducted extensive market research to ensure that the platform would offer a convenient means by which users could access and track CE credits to keep licensures current.
KMC On Demand is part of Crawford Educational Services, a unit of Crawford & Company.
