The new policy provides a coverage option in the form of a supplemental data breach endorsement, available on a select basis with a sublimit. Non-profit organizations that receive and disburse donations, grants, loans and other financial support electronically, can possess sensitive information of either their supporters or beneficiaries, and are as much a potential target for cyber attack and vulnerable to data breach as any commerce driven organization may be.
