estate trends may be stabilizing, according to the latest quarterly survey from Washington, D.C.-based <a href=\"http://www.rer.org/\">Real Estate Roundtable</a>.</p>","<p>The group surveyed more than 100 senior real estate executives for its quarterly report.</p>","<p>The survey reports:</p>|<ul> <li> 82 percent think market conditions today are better than they were a year ago, but only 17 percent said conditions were \"much better.\" </li><li> The survey's \"current conditions index,\" which hit a low point of 17 in the fourth quarter of 2008, stands at 74. </li><li> Transaction volume is doen 80 to 90 percent since 2007, and values are down by as much as 50 percent in some markets. </li><li> 28 percent of survey respondents perceived asset prices as lower than tehy were a year ago, compared wtih 57 percent the previous quarter.
