The Insurance Council of New Jersey (ICNJ) has named Deana Lykins president.
She will oversee the New Jersey property and casualty advocacy organization.
Ms. Lykins was a principal in a Trenton lobbying firm before joining ICNJ.
Previously, she served as national state government policy manager for a major pharmaceutical company and as deputy counsel and Senate Commerce Committee aide to the New Jersey Senate Majority.
