The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) will hold its 25th annual conference, "Passport to Captive Success," Aug. 10-12 in Burlington, Vt.
VCIA said seminar topics will include:
o Capital and Collateral in Crisis.
o An Itinerary to Understanding Loss Reserves.
o Around the World of Healthcare Claims Management.
o Best Practices for Captive Governance.
The closing luncheon keynote speaker is John Jacobs, who co-founded the New England-based Life Is Good Company with his brother, Bert.
Attendees that register before June 30 will save money, VCIA said. The group added that becoming a VCIA member will also result in savings of $520 on conference registration fees.
The captive industry event, VCIA said, features more than 100 exhibitors, 18 educational seminars and roundtables, and 60 panelists with expertise in all areas of the captive industry.
