Mario Vitale, Zurich Global Corporate chief executive officer is the recipient of the Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York 2010 BHGH Vision of Hope award.
He received the award for helping at-risk teens in New York receive a high-quality education, stable home environment and the support they need to reach their full potential.
"I consider this honor to be a highlight of my personal and professional life," said Mr. Vitale. "When I recently met with some of the scholars, I was humbled by their stories of overcoming hardships and inspired to help them fulfill their dreams."
Mr. Vitale received the award at the 11th annual BHGH Vision of Hope Awards Dinner on May 6 in New York.
