USI Southwest hires new irector of complex claims and consulting

Price comes to USI Southwest as its new director of complex claims and consulting.

Kara Altenbaumer-Price has joined USI Southwest as director of complex claims and consulting. She comes to USI Southwest from the corporate compliance, investigations and defense group at Andrews Kurth LLP.

Price will work with Steve Campo, MPS practice leader, in the management and professional services department and focus primarily on public and pre-IPO private clients in managing complex claims, and will consult with them on corporate governance and risk issues surrounding D&O liability and other executive liability coverages. She will also provide boardroom consulting and education, law firm education on best practices and procedures to avoid and handle claims, as well as insight into developing trends in securities litigation, regulatory issues and other claims.
