Claims Magazine is seeking a new, paid contributor for a monthly column that explores issues related to Claims and Risk Management. This person should know the business of loss adjusting, have a passion for writing, and be able to express themselves clearly and with creativity.
"I'm excited about offering this opportunity to the insurance claim industry," said Eric Gilkey, editor-in-chief of Claims Magazine. "Claims reaches more than 46,600* claim professionals in print and delivers 50,000** impressions online every month. That's a lot of visibility for our contributors and advertisers."
How to submit:
- Tell us in under 300 words why you are qualified to write for Claims Magazine.
- Write a sample column of between 800-1,000 words relating either to claims or risk management. If you are chosen, this column will be your first published piece.
- List 4 additional topics (two claim management, two risk management) that you think would not only educate Claims readers, but also make them sit up and take notice.
E-mail your sample article and topics to Editor in Chief Eric Gilkey, [email protected], with the subject line: Contributor Contest
The deadline to submit an entry is April 15th, 2010.
Claims will be exhibiting at PLRB in San Antonio, TX on March 21-24. Visit us at booth number 472 for additional details about the contributor contest.
