Celebrities are accustomed earning accolades, often gracing the covers of magazines and various "best" lists. One need only look to the recent 82nd Annual Academy Awards (Oscars) ceremony, which took place on March 7, 2010, to witness the mutual ego-stroking, big wins, and even bigger fashion moments that will likely become water-cooler fodder for months to come. Yet, there is one list that prominent fixtures in Tinseltown may have shied away from, if given the choice.
Enter CARSTAR Collision Centers' inaugural CARSTAR'D Awards. The large chain of collision repair experts has decided to honor A-listers in a much different way, citing the notable dings, dents, and crashes in 2009.
Surprisingly absent from the 2009 list are Brittany Spears and Lindsey Lohan, who have earned spots on the CARSTAR'D All-Star list for past fender benders. There is no word on the claim costs associated with this year's crashes; however, this summary of incidents can at least serve as a cautionary tale to unrelenting paparazzi trailing stars.
