I think most carriers are interested in providing true ease of doing business. In the recent years, I feel many carriers are starting to listen more intensely; taking the relationship with their agents to the next level–a level where the agent and carrier work on strategic issues as partners. However, there still are many times when the carrier listens but already has an opinion or has made decisions that affect the agent without [the agent's] input. Sometimes I question how carefully some of these carriers have listened.
