Aon Corp. announced it has integrated Paragon Strategic Solutions into Inpoint, an Aon company recently formed to help insurance carriers improve their performance.

The brokerage said Paragon, previously an Aon Benfield company, will now be known as Inpoint Services. Paragon, it was explained, leverages proprietary techniques to help carriers achieve operational efficiencies, accelerate recovery rates and improve financial performance.

"Inpoint distinguishes itself by combining an unparalleled depth of talent with proprietary, real-time industry data, while Paragon has become synonymous with specialized operational solutions," said Michael R. Moran, a managing partner of Inpoint. The two businesses, he said, are complementary.

Jesper Groenvold, previously chief executive officer of Paragon and now a managing partner of Inpoint, said, "With the combination of Inpoint and Paragon, our clients will be allowed to focus on the core strategic issues affecting their business."

Inpoint is an insurance consulting firm with offices in Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, Dallas, Pittsburgh, London, Dublin and Sydney with access to resources from Aon's network of more than 500 offices in 120 countries.
