The Travelers Cos., Inc. has promoted Bill Cunningham to executive vice president, leading the company's Business Insurance segment, effective March 1, 2010.
Cunningham began his career with Travelers in 1987 in Commercial Accounts and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility since then, including leadership roles in the Travelers Construction, National Accounts and Commercial Accounts businesses. Cunningham is also a member of the company's Management Committee.
Jay S. Fishman, Travelers Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "I am pleased that Bill Cunningham will now be leading Business Insurance, our largest business segment.
