Eagil Financial Group, LLC, a corporate and personal financial planning firm, said it has acquired the Goebel Insurance Agency as one of its partnered affiliates.

The company would not disclose financial terms or details on the size of the Philadelphia-based Goebel Agency, which offers property and casualty, life and business insurance products.

Guy E. Runyon, president and CEO of Woodcliff Lake, N.J.-based Eagil, said in a statement that in purchasing companies it seeks those that are financially successful and have "a sense of commitment to the community. If you live off the fruit of a tree, make sure you plant plenty of seeds."

Christopher Goebel, principal of the Goebel Agency, said, "We are excited to be part of Eagil and its national companies. This transition enables our company to continue on a tremendous growth trend and positions us to have enormous leverage in our day-to-day operations."

He added that Eagil's knowledge and expertise in corporate and personal financial planning and estate planning would allow Goebel to better serve its clientele.
