The Chartered Property Casualty UnderwritersSociety said it will offer eight courses and eight workshops in leadership at its annual Leadership Summit beginning April 29.
CPCU said the event will be held at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix and run through May 1.
Society President and Chairman Douglas J. Holtz said, "Our cadre of talented leaders, found throughout our 149 chapters, deserves and will receive the best preparation for their challenging tasks. This year's Leadership Summit will enable them to stay on top of their game."
CPCU said courses being offered include "How to Expand Your Mental Model to Create Success," "Inspiring Leadership that Builds Shared Vision," and "Systems Thinking Beyond Traditional Analysis."
Among the workshops will be "Leadership Teams that are Prepared for the Trip," "Build the Highway to Member Success," and "Every Compass Points to the North."
The Summit will include evening networking receptions on April 29 and 30. All of the Society's top leadership will be present at the Summit for board of directors and other governing group meetings.
