The Young Insurance Professionals associations in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York states affiliated with the Professional Insurance Agents have a new Web site.

The aim of the new site, www.younginsuranceprofessionals.org, is to "extend the reach of the associations by offering a more attractive and contemporary, user-friendly format for site visitors," the associations said.

"The new YIP Web site reflects the modern approach the Young Insurance Professionals are cultivating in their efforts to recruit members and generate excitement for the organization," explained Kim Voelker, director of the three-state Young Insurance Professionals associations, in a statement.

She called the site "more in step with the image and lifestyle of today's young agents in the insurance business."

PIA said the new site features a one-stop portal that serves as an access point for all three associations, creating a more cohesive experience for the YIPs in all three states. Additionally, the site features expanded content and media for members, with a focus on event information, photos and more from YIP-sponsored programs.

The three state organizations are dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry and are affiliated with the Professional Insurance Agents of New York State, New Jersey and Connecticut Inc.
