The Iroquois Group , one of the oldest networks of property-casualty insurance agencies in the country, is offering financial services through a new division and subsidiary, which is designed to provide additional markets, support and revenue-enhancing strategies for members. The company works with independent agents in 37 states. “Iroquois has traditionally focused on property and casualty lines,” said Iroquois president Laurie A. Branch in a statement. “But Best Practices data show that financial services can help an agency increase overall retention and can account for 15% to 20% of total agency revenue. That is an opportunity we want to make available to all of our member agencies.” The new division will be run by Mark Hendrix and Greg Chiapuso.
