The Travelers Companies, Inc., has named Anne MacDonald as its chief marketing officer.
Ms. MacDonald previously served as a partner with The Rockefeller Consulting Group after serving as president and chief marketing officer of Macy's, Inc.
The St. Paul, Minn.-based company said that Ms. MacDonald will also serve as executive vice president. The appointment is effective July 27.
Travelers also announced a partnership with the CollegeBound Foundation and its "Pipeline from High School to College to Work" program.
Travelers has provided a $350,000 grant to Baltimore city high schools, mainly designed to help provide financial support to students who decide to continue their education at Morgan State University in Baltimore.
