Scottish Gangster Ian “Blink” McDonald, 48, continues to not-so-subtly contest Aviva’s refusal to pay 26,000 pounds to replace his Mercedes Kompressor, which was firebombed in May.

The infamous hood lovingly referred to his Mercedes as his “Blinkmobile.” Just weeks before this latest arson attack, hit men placed a crude device under the motor and later slashed McDonald in a botched murder attempt. Fearing for his safety, CID officers warned McDonald to dump the ride before it was torched. A defiant McDonald chose not to heed their advice, saying “there’s no way I’m getting rid of the Blinkmobile.”
