Ron Gabor, president of Gabor Insurance Services Inc. (GIS) of Miami, has announced the purchase of the assets of Continental Agency of Florida, Inc., of Boca Raton. GIS and its subsidiary, American Professional Liability Underwriters, Inc., operate as managing general agents and surplus lines brokers throughout the Southeast.
Continental President Steven M. Finver has been named executive vice president of Gabor and will continue to operate out of its Boca Raton office under the Continental Agency of Florida name.
