Goodson Farms in eastern Hillsborough County farm has been ordered to pay nearly $1.1 million in restitution after pleading guilty to crop insurance fraud. According to prosecutors, company officials lied about damaged crops to obtain more than a $1 million in federal crop insurance payments. The company also was put on probation for five years.
