Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Insurance announced today that it has created a free application for the Apple iPhone, titled Nationwide Mobile, to help process claims after an auto accident.

The company said the application is now available on the Apple App Store. Nationwide said the new app will help its customers find local resources, document the accident and submit claims information on the spot.
