Moody's Investors Service lowered the financial strength ratingand credit ratings of The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.citing continued weakness in earnings and investment losses.
The rating service lowered the insurance financial strengthrating for the Hartford, Conn.-based insurer from "A1" to "A2" andthe life insurance operating subsidiaries from "A1" to "A3."
