Mitch Blaser was named the chief executive officer of IronshoreBermuda the Hamilton, Bermuda-based specialty insurer IronshoreInc. announced today.
In addition to being the CEO of Bermuda, Mr. Blaser willcontinue to serve in his capacity as chief operating officer andCFO of Ironshore's Global Operations. The CEO position is new tothe company, the firm said.
Prior to joining Ironshore, Mr. Blaser was the chief financialofficer for Swiss Re's Americas Division and also served as adirector of Swiss Re America. Before Swiss Re, he was part of theleadership team at Marsh where he served in a variety of roles,including global CFO and head of technology and corporate services.Mr. Blaser also served as a member of Marsh's board ofdirectors.
