Grange Mutual Insurance unveiled a new branding campaign today designed to improve its promotion efforts and make online contacts by customers easier.

The Columbus, Ohio-based personal lines insurer showed off a new logo and online features during an online press conference. Phil Urban, president and chief executive officer for Grange, said the redesigned face of the company positions the company for continued growth and puts it in a position to help its independent agent base to deal with the direct writer promotions.

"We have worked very hard to position Grange for continued growth," said Mr. Urban of the close to 75 year-old company. "Our independent agents are under fire everyday with billions and billions of dollars of direct writer advertising and we need to make sure that our brand does a good job of supporting them and position them as value added insurance experts from a consumer's point of view."
