Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 32 cents per share on the company's common stock payable on April 15 to shareholders of record as of March 31.

The firm has not yet reported its fourth-quarter and year-end results.

For the third quarter, net income dropped $14 million to $38 million over the same period in 2007. Earnings per share were down 14 cents, to 40 cents a share. Revenues rose 4 percent, or $17.5 million, to $482 million.
