Santa.jpgIn a sure sign that times are tough all over, Santa Claus managed to get through this year’s Christmas deliveries, but cannot promise he’ll be stopping by anyone’s home in 2009 or beyond now that Treasury officials–egged on by Scrooge-like members of Congress–denied him a bailout loan to keep his North Pole enterprise from going under.
