Art McDevitt, vice president of the Energy Division of U.S. Risk Insurance Group Inc., was named Insurance Industry Person of the Year at the Association of Wyoming Agents’ annual convention in Jackson Hole, Wyo., on June 13.
He won for his contribution to the association, including teaching continuing education classes on ethics for last two years.
McDevitt, who has nearly 40 years experience in the insurance industry, has worked for U.S. Risk for the past five years. Previously, McDevitt was active with the CPCU Society, where he served on the national ethics committee and the national board of directors.
