The Remi Group LLC, an equipment maintenance management provider in Ballantyne, N.C., has appointed Ron Calhoun president.
With 20 years of commercial insurance leadership experience, Calhoun has held sales leadership and national practice leadership positions within Wausau Insurance Services, J&H, Marsh, and most recently with Wachovia Insurance Services. He has an extensive background in the healthcare and public entity sectors, facilitating the development of several healthcare-centric products and services.
Calhoun is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, the American Health Lawyers Association, and is on the advisory board of the Owen School of Management’s Healthcare MBA Program at Vanderbilt University. He received a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an accounting major from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
