Skywire Software and Whitehill Technologies Inc., two global providers of software and services for insurance and financial services, yesterday announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Frisco, Texas-based Skywire will acquire Whitehill.
Terms of the transaction, which is expected to be complete on or before August 31, were not disclosed. The company also declined to comment on whether or not the deal involved cash, stock, or both.
The acquisition of Whitehill will enable Skywire to "continue its aggressive global expansion in serving insurance, financial services and other key, high-growth industries," the announcement said.
