Earlier this year, Claims put a call out to its readers and subscribers, asking for nominations for our Claim Professional of the Year.

Earlier this year, Claims put a call out to its readers and subscribers, asking for nominations for our Claim Professional of the Year. The award, sponsored by the law firm of Smith & Brink, P.C., is presented annually at the magazine’s ACE America’s Claim Event Conference and Exhibition in an effort to recognize the consummate claim professional who leads by example and is a catalyst for claim-handling improvement.

We couldn’t have found a more deserving winner in Maryann Iannuzzo, first vice president for HUB International Northeast. Below is an excerpt from her nomination, which was submitted by two of Maryann’s coworkers.
