Embrace Pet Insurance has launched a new program that enables employers to offer pet insurance to their employees.
“Embrace Your Employees” is available immediately so that employers can build the plan into their upcoming employee health benefits open enrollment programs.
The pet health insurance plan costs employers nothing and allows employees to choose a plan that meets their needs. Pet owners can build a custom, online pet insurance policy tailored to their budget, by specifying maximum cash outlay, deductible, co-pay and optional coverage.
The plans are designed to address the shortcomings of traditional pet health insurance.
Benefits of Embrace Pet Insurance plans include reimbursement based on actual vet bills, coverage for genetic conditions (including cancer) and the option of coverage for chronic conditions.
The company, which said it specializes in offering affordable, practical and simple pet health insurance plans, is exhibiting at the HR Star conference in San Francisco on July 18.
