CDS Business Mapping, an online hazard-mapping developer, has added a batch-processing feature to RiskMeter Online, its real-time natural-hazard risk-report service. This new feature enables underwriters, agents, and brokers to run schedules through RiskMeter Online.
With the new batch-processing tool, users can obtain natural-hazard risk reports without having to type in individual addresses, resulting in time savings and increased productivity. All of the RiskMeter Online's reports are available, including distance to coast, flood zone determinations, wind pool eligibility, and brush fire scores. Furthermore, because no human intervention is required by RiskMeter, schedules can be run at any time of day, any day of the week. With the addition of the batch feature to RiskMeter Online, users upload their schedules on the RiskMeter Web site and they will receive an e-mail with their policy exposure results a few hours later.
