Desktop mapping sales and consulting company, CDS Business Mapping, has recently added a new storm- surge report to RiskMeter Online, its real-time, natural hazard risk report service.

The RiskMeter Online's storm surge report is based on the SLOSH (Sea, Lake, and Overland Surges from Hurricanes) storm- surge model. The report will tell users if a property falls within an area likely to flood from a hurricane of a specific strength, and the maximum storm- surge height for each category of storm.

Currently the report is only available in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New York, South Carolina, and Texas.
