The Horton Group, headquartered in Orland Park, Ill., was recently named a partner firm of Columbus, Ohio-based Assurex Global, a privately held insurance, risk management and employee benefits brokerage group.
Horton Group, with additional branch offices in Indiana, Wisconsin, Arizona and China, was established in 1971.
The firm provides insurance, risk management and employee benefit solutions for companies and individuals alike.
Horton lists annual revenues of more than $40 million and has 400 employees in nine offices in four states and two countries.
The company joins 116 other Assurex Global partners with more than 500 offices in over 70 countries on six continents.
“Horton completed a rigorous selection process and their qualifications made them a clear choice,” explained Jim Hackbarth, Assurex Global's president and chief executive officer. “They are truly an impressive firm which is steadfastly focused on client service.”

Assurex Global represents annual premiums of $23 billion among its partners.
