Artizan Internet Services announced the rollout of its First Notice of Loss (FNOL) module for use with the company's CSR24 product. The solution is designed to integrate with an agency management system's client data, and it fills a gap in disaster management plans to allow a streamlined process for claims reporting at critical times for the insured.

The First Notice of Loss is considered the most critical part of the entire claims process. When this process is completed properly and effectively, the claims process can be smooth and quick.

"Many carrier outsourced claims solutions still require a manual data-entry process, complete with faxed copies and rekeying of data on both ends of the transaction," says Richard Roy, Artizan president and managing partner.

The FNOL module allows Artizan call center personnel to fill out ACORD Loss Notices (currently for home and auto policies) with as much information as the policyholder has available at the time of the initial call. This data is integrated with the client's policy data via the agency's management system. From there, the ACORD form PDF file is sent to the agency and the carrier. These options are all customizable based upon their chosen settings.

This module is being distributed to all CSR24 and Service911 clients as part of the standard enhancement and development of the product. There is no additional cost to CSR24 clients for this important enhancement.
