No, this bus isn't an "after" photo from an episode of MTV's Pimp My Ride. Rather, it's the newest tool from Farmers Insurance Group to help policyholders settle their claims more quickly after a catastrophe.

Even more impressive on the inside, the 45-foot-long, diesel-powered bus is equipped with a built-in data satellite, global positioning system navigation, security/safety system, noise-reduction generator, and in-motion satellite television, which allows it to track inclement weather events and urgent news reports when communication is otherwise unavailable. The command center also features seven workstations for employees, two LCD televisions, and a printer/fax/copy machine. According to Farmers, it is the first insurance company in the country to incorporate this kind of technology on a bus that can be dispatched at a moment's notice to any location in the U.S.

"The new Farmers Mobile Command Center bus was chosen as the catastrophe center point for handling claims and servicing our customers," said Frank Soldano, state executive for Farmers Insurance Group in Kansas. "It will enable Farmers claim representatives to offer claim help to customers immediately following a catastrophe."
