The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has announced that Larry Willis has been elected vice-chair of PIA Services, Inc., one of its for-profit subsidiaries dedicated to providing agents with products and services they can offer to their clients and also to better manage their agencies. Willis is a veteran of more than 20 years in the insurance industry and is a principal in the Annette Willis Agency, a distinguished insurance firm with three locations in Miami.
Willis's experience in the insurance community is vast. He has served as a national director, executive board member, and a member of the national communications committee of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents. Willis was also a board member and past president of PIA of Florida, its affiliate. Over the years he has received many awards. Willis was named Florida Agent of the Year in 2000, National Agent of the Year in 2001, and he was twice recognized as chairman of he year for his work on the PIA of Florida's Legislative Committee. He was named Agent of the Year by the South Florida PIA in 1998.
