Duck Creek Technologies, a provider of software and services for the insurance industry, announced the release of an enhanced version of its EXAMPLE Platform, Version 2.1, which is designed to support faster speed-to-market implementations. Duck Creek also unveiled a new online customer solutions center portal for product documentation and customer support information needs.
The new platform features a complete rearchitecture of the EXAMPLE TransACT component, which provides and supports policy processing functions through server requests. This service-oriented architecture (SOA) allows carriers to adopt and implement custom policy processing scenarios though configuration and rules created with EXAMPLE Author. The result is enhanced support for policy administration transaction processing that simplifies and extends the way business rules are applied to policy changes.
The new EXAMPLE User Admin interface allows flexibility to configure multiple levels of system access for carrier-agency-consumer and product underwriter-multitiered producer relationships. This provides a way for carriers to custom manage any kind of distribution model with any type of partner and buyer down to the consumer level.
